"We are just numbers" is an ongoing series of performances and installations.
Concept
We utilize a public space where people walk, a gallery, a square, a park, or any other public space as a canvas. We fill it with thousands of "1" symbols.
Each "1" represents a dead civilian killed by the Russian army in Ukraine. Behind each of those numbers were a life, a family, and a story. The viewer should consider the process of drawing the numbers as an art performance, and once done, the symbols left should be regarded as a temporary art installation and not a painting.
We see people walking by the genocide in Ukraine without paying attention to it every day. They walk minding their own business. This is ignorance, the same one we see daily in politics and everyday lives. For many, and probably to most people on earth, the amount of casualties amongst Ukrainians killed by Russia is just a number. We are just numbers.
"Vital-non-vital" is a conceptual series of AI-distorted images that critiques and questions the idea of after-war replacement of the killed and displaced people due to war and genocide in Ukraine created by Russia, with artificial intelligence.
No life is replaceable.
Because of Russia's war against Ukraine, fashion also became obsolete to us in many ways. We don't need clothes, and all we need is to come home and hug people close to us. This photoshoot never was planned to say that fashion became useless. Its concept was in the idea of irony on overconsumption and fast fashion. But things change as well as an understanding of our art.
The art pieces are both the clothes upcycled by Kreida
and the photographs themselves.
Vagina NFTs are 200 handmade sculptures of labia, which were minted as NFTs. The ongoing project aims to destigmatize vaginas and women's sexuality in our society and the NFT space. The artworks aim to show how every individual body is beautiful and that everyone should love it the way it is. The project is based on scientific research, which allowed the artists to understand the flaws of society's appreciation of labia. The project sharez information about the lack of research on vulva diversity and the commercial beauty industry, which parasites on a distorted image of the vulva in our society. As well as it shares information about the lack of research on vulva diversity and the commercial beauty industry, which parasites on a distorted image of the vulva in our society. 5% of our income goes to UNICEF.
"Christ Project" is a series of photographs that are interpretations of parts of the New Testament. In this project, all the prominent roles were played by women, and the apostles are depicted by Barbie dolls and the Magi and the Romans. The project deliberately looks bright and "childish" to draw attention to the problems of conservatism in modern society. The works are ironic about conservative notions of women and male dominance in the Abrahamic Religions. Barbie dolls symbolize society's view of the concept of the "ideal woman" and ridicule the fact that almost all the characters in the Bible are male, which is irrelevant in today's world.
The casting leads to the idea of "The god is a woman."According to the authors, the viewer should feel the joy of what he saw because the visual range strongly resembles an advertisement or a clip. What hedonism the viewer experiences is also part of the irony of Puritanism and conservatism.
Art Performance "BeautifulHair"
This art performance is an ironic and neo-dadaistic overview of modern media resources. The repetition which you see on social media every time with just a slight change would remind you about the reality.
“Short film number -" is an unfinished series of works, the purpose of which is to concentrate on the creative image of a person at the time of the shooting.Technically, this is done through a long conversation with the protagonist of the episode, in which the authors try to extract the brightest features of this human and their drama, feelings, dilemmas, and moral principles. After the conversation, the person is left alone with the camera for an hour in a room with a bright light directed at their face. This builds a contrast between a person's voice and his experiences and emotions in solitude.
The idea which the authors try to discover is the idea of solitude, and self-representation in the society in the post covid, war world. The authors try to convey this concentration to the viewer without trying to change his view of reality or everyday life, and the goal is solely to represent the concentrated creative image of a protagonist. The result is a video in which the same video series is played simultaneously regular and reversed and cut fragments of the conversation in audio format played on top.
Video art"The nun eats jam or opium of the people"
Video art "The nun eats jam or opium of the people" is our first work in collaboration and the video art we have ever realized. Using impressionism and naive art as sources of inspiration, we have created this piece of art. The topic we wanted to raise is self-explanatory- it's a dilemma of whether strong faith can be seen as an addiction.
