statement
In our art, a medium is always an instrument to express an idea, a feeling or discuss a problem.
Currently, our art pieces focus on the genocide in Ukraine and the ignorance towards it that we see daily. Before the start of the full-scale invasion and the beginning of the genocide, we have been creating art projects focused on claiming attention to the problems in our society which include body image issues and sexuality stigmatisation in the scientific and medical fields as well as in society, the dominant male role in the interpretation of religions, the fast-fashion influence on the ecology and society we live in today.
For us, esthetics in art is a tool and never the goal. Creating art for us is pretty much never enjoyable but rather a complex and often painful process, both mentally and physically. The only thing that matters is the emotions people receive from viewing it and the reflection it has on their view of the world.
